Reversible Express Lanes Martin Luther King Holiday Hours:

The Reversible Express Lanes on the Selmon Crosstown Expressway will be open westbound on Monday, January 21 at its regular time of 6 a.m.  At 10 a.m., the entire length of Reversible Express Lanes (from downtown Tampa to Brandon) will be open in the eastbound direction until 6 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008.

Motorists are reminded that the Reversible Express Lanes are open only to Electronic and Video Toll Collection customers. If a vehicle does not have a SunPass or Toll-By-Plate account, the owner can call 1-888-TAG-TOLL up to 72 hours after use of the express lanes to avoid a possible fine or to open an account.

50th Street On-Ramp Closure:

The 50th Street on-ramp to the Selmon Crosstown Expressway eastbound will be closed beginning January 28th for approximately one month.  This work begins the second phase of the deck panel replacement project on the expressway.

Motorists wishing to head east may use the on-ramps at 39th Street or 78th Street to enter the Selmon Crosstown.

While traveling through the work zone, motorists are urged to use caution and obey the posted speed limit.  Please be advised that unforeseen circumstances such as weather may affect the schedule.

The Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority expresses its appreciation for your patience and regrets any inconvenience to motorists.
