Reversible Express Lanes Martin Luther King Holiday Hours:
The
Reversible Express Lanes on the Selmon Crosstown Expressway
will be open westbound on Monday, January 21 at its regular
time of 6 a.m. At 10 a.m., the entire length of Reversible
Express Lanes (from downtown Tampa to Brandon) will be open
in the eastbound direction until 6 a.m. Tuesday, January 22,
2008.
Motorists are reminded that the Reversible
Express Lanes are open only to Electronic and Video Toll
Collection customers. If a vehicle does not have a SunPass
or Toll-By-Plate account, the owner can call 1-888-TAG-TOLL
up to 72 hours after use of the express lanes to avoid a
possible fine or to open an account.
50th Street On-Ramp Closure:
The 50th Street on-ramp to the Selmon
Crosstown Expressway eastbound will be closed beginning
January 28th for approximately one month. This work begins
the second phase of the deck panel replacement project on
the expressway.
Motorists wishing to head east may use the
on-ramps at 39th Street or 78th Street to enter the Selmon
Crosstown.
While
traveling through the work zone, motorists are urged to use
caution and obey the posted speed limit. Please be advised
that unforeseen circumstances such as weather may affect the
schedule.
The Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority
