Pedestrian Closures Overnight on 5/20 Near the Hillsborough River Bridge

#PEDESTRIANALERT: Our crews will be working tomorrow night, May 20, in two locations near the Hillsborough River Bridge. We appreciate your patience, and please use caution in work zones.

Wed. 5/20:
🚧 Joseph Frye Park (East Side of the River): There will be a temporary pedestrian closure in the park; the main Riverwalk path will remain open and accessible as usual.

🚧 Bayshore Blvd. beneath the Selmon Expressway (West Side of the River): Our crews will be working in this area. No impacts to traffic lanes or pedestrian sidewalks are expected.

Reversible Lanes Closed overnight May 19th from 8pm - 6am

#TRAFFICALERT: The Reversible Express Lanes (REL) will be closed - weather permitting - for maintenance activities from on May 19 from 8 PM to 6 AM May 20 when we will resume normal operations.

Please use Selmon Expressway main lanes. Thank you for your patience.

#TRAFFICALERT: Nightly lane closures are scheduled on various Selmon Expressway overpasses from May 18–20, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM for tree trimming and clearing as part of the South Selmon Capacity Project.

Tue. 5/19:

🚧 El Prado (WB inside lane)

🚧 MacDill/Bay-to-Bay (EB & WB inside lane)

🚧 Howard/Watrous (WB inside lane)

Wed. 5/20:

🚧Swann (WB inside lane)

🚧 Mississippi (EB inside lane)

Nightly lane closures May 13 –14 from 8:00PM - 6:00AM

#TRAFFICALERT: Nightly lane closures are scheduled for May 13 –14, from 8:00PM - 6:00AM for project construction. Signage will be located at the beginning & end of each work zone.

5/13-5/14: Selmon West Extension (single eastbound lane) & Downtown Viaduct (single westbound lane)

Please drive with caution and plan accordingly.

Lane closure: Northbound Lakewood Dr. Brandon

#TRAFFICALERT: We will be closing the right lane along northbound Lakewood Dr. in Brandon to make sidewalk repairs and improvements to the drainage system. We will be closing the right lane during the daytime from 9 am – 3 pm April 20, 21, and 22^nd (Mon., Tue., Wed.,) to perform this work.
