Preview of the 2022 FAV Summit

Florida continues to be a leader in advancing cutting-edge Automated, Connected, Electric, and Shared (ACES) transportation technologies.

This year is the 10th annual Florida Automated Vehicles Summit hosted by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority. This event takes place December 14th – 16th at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, just a short drive from downtown Jacksonville, Fla. Leaders in the transportation industry will come together to celebrate, network, and showcase their plans for mobility technology.

At the #2022FAVSummit, attendees will experience groundbreaking demonstrations, research exhibits, and sessions that raise awareness, expertise, and capabilities to the next level, especially with disruption in the technology sector and other industries. No other event statewide brings attendees this much access, research, and inspiration in regard to leading-edge technologies.

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Jennifer Brace. Brace is a Trends and Futuring Manager at Ford, where she leads discussions on long-term thinking, planning, and strategic development. At the summit, she will discuss innovation in mobility, shifting demographics, and developing data-driven scenarios for the future.

With governmental and political support, the FAV Summit is often filled with surprise speakers and leaders who engage in compelling discussions regarding implementation and policy.
